Terms of Service - Rules for Using Video2Prompt

Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Video2Prompt, an AI-powered video to prompt generator that helps you extract professional prompts from any video for AI video generators like Sora, Kling, and Runway. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.

Use of the Service

Video2Prompt provides users with an AI video analysis platform to extract prompts from videos (Video to Prompt) and an interface to generate videos from text prompts and images using third-party AI models (Prompt to Video). You agree to use the service in accordance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

User Accounts and Registration

  1. Account Creation: To access certain features of the service, you need to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

  2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  3. User Responsibilities: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided through Video2Prompt, including but not limited to AI analysis features, prompt generation algorithms, and documentation, is protected under copyright law. The copyright owner of Video2Prompt is video2prompt.net.

  • You acknowledge that you do not own the underlying technology or intellectual property that makes up the Video2Prompt service, and you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of video2prompt.net and any third parties.
  • You retain ownership of any prompts generated from your own videos. The core Video2Prompt platform and features remain the property of video2prompt.net.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using Video2Prompt:

  • Uploading videos that infringe on others' copyrights or intellectual property rights
  • Generating, or attempting to generate, NSFW, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, including nudity and pornography
  • Any content that sexualizes minors
  • Face swaps, deepfakes or realistic depictions of real people without their consent
  • Using the service to generate prompts or videos for illegal or harmful content, including violence, hate, harassment and self-harm
  • Attempting to bypass or trick our content moderation
  • Interfering with or disrupting the security or performance of the service
  • Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempting to bypass any security features of the service

Acceptable Use and Content Moderation

Your use of the service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which explains in plain language what you can and cannot create.

  • Video2Prompt does not allow the generation of NSFW, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content.
  • Every Prompt to Video request is checked by automated moderation: text prompts and images before generation, and generated videos before they are shown to you.
  • Requests that fail moderation are blocked. Generated videos that fail moderation are withheld and their credits are refunded.
  • If moderation is unavailable, generation does not start.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly submit prohibited content or try to bypass moderation.

Third-Party AI Models

Video2Prompt is an independent product that provides an interface to third-party AI models. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the creators of those models, and model names are used only to describe compatibility. You are responsible for the prompts and images you submit and for how you use generated content.

Privacy and Data Collection

Video2Prompt collects the following types of data:

  • Account Information: Information you provide when creating an account
  • Usage Details: Data related to your activity on our service
  • Device Information: Information about the device you use to access our service
  • Cookies: Data that helps us enhance your experience with our service
  • Payment and Billing Information: Data necessary to process payments
  • Uploaded Videos: Videos you upload for analysis (stored temporarily for processing)
  • Prompts and Generated Content: Prompts, images and generated videos, including the results of content moderation checks

Plans and Pricing

Video2Prompt offers subscription plans and one-time credit packs. Credits are used to run Video to Prompt and Prompt to Video tasks. All prices are in US dollars; current details are always shown on our pricing page and at checkout.

Subscription plans (billed monthly or yearly; each plan includes a monthly credit allowance):

  • Starter: $9.99 per month, or $47.99 per year, with 240 credits per month
  • Pro: $19.99 per month, or $95.99 per year, with 600 credits per month
  • Studio: $69.99 per month, or $479.99 per year, with 5,500 credits per month

One-time credit packs (charged once, no renewal):

  • 240 credits: $11.90
  • 600 credits: $21.99
  • 4,400 credits: $49.99
  • 8,800 credits: $99.99

Credit validity:

  • Monthly plan credits are granted when each billing period starts and expire at the end of that period. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
  • Yearly plan credits are granted in monthly installments (one month's allowance at a time), and each installment is valid for about one month.
  • Credits from one-time packs are valid for 2 years from purchase and are not affected by whether you have a subscription.
  • When you have credits from more than one source, the credits that expire soonest are used first.

Billing and Automatic Renewal

  • Merchant of Record. Payments are processed by our Merchants of Record, Waffo (Waffo.com Limited, through Waffo Pancake) and Creem; the one shown on the checkout page handles your purchase. It acts as the reseller of our digital services and handles billing, tax, and payment processing on our behalf. Your card details are handled by the Merchant of Record and are never stored on our servers.
  • Automatic renewal authorization. Subscriptions renew automatically. A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan renews every year, on the same date as your original purchase, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize the Merchant of Record to charge your payment method the plan price shown at checkout at the start of each new billing period.
  • Renewal reminders and receipts. Before a renewal is charged, the Merchant of Record emails you a notice of the upcoming charge, including the amount and the renewal date. After each successful charge, you receive a receipt by email. Your current plan and next billing date are always shown in Settings → Billing.
  • One-time purchases. Each credit pack purchase is a single charge for the amount shown at checkout and never renews.
  • Upgrades. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately and you are charged the prorated price difference for the current billing period. Downgrading to a lower plan is not supported; to move to a lower plan, cancel and subscribe again after the current period ends.
  • Taxes. Applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST or sales tax) are calculated and collected by the Merchant of Record at checkout.
  • Price changes. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for. We will email you before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before the next renewal if you do not accept it.

Cancellation

  • How to cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time online in Settings → Billing: click Cancel subscription, or open Manage subscription to cancel in the Merchant of Record's customer portal. You can also email support@video2prompt.net from your account email address.
  • What happens after you cancel. Cancellation stops all future renewal charges. Your plan stays active, and your plan credits stay usable, until the end of the current billing period; after that you are not charged again.
  • Credits from one-time packs are not affected by cancellation and remain valid for their original 2-year period.

Refunds

  • 7-day refund for unused purchases. If you have not used any of the credits from a subscription or credit pack, you can request a full refund within 7 days of the charge.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges are refunded in full.
  • Used credits are not refundable. Except as described above or required by law, charges are not refundable once credits from that purchase have been used, including partially used billing periods.
  • Statutory rights. Any right of withdrawal or refund granted to you by applicable law (for example, in the EU or the UK) is not affected.
  • How to request. Email support@video2prompt.net with your account email and order number. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by the Merchant of Record, and the credits from the refunded purchase are removed from your account.
  • Billing questions. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact support@video2prompt.net before disputing the charge with your bank, so we can fix it quickly.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the service, us, or third parties.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service and disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, video2prompt.net shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless video2prompt.net, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which video2prompt.net operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
