Acceptable Use Policy

What you can and cannot create with Video2Prompt, and how we moderate content
Oct 16, 2026

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy explains, in plain language, what you may and may not create with Video2Prompt, including Video to Prompt analysis and Prompt to Video generation. It is part of our Terms of Service. If you break this policy, we may block the request, remove the content and suspend or close your account.

What You Can Create

Video2Prompt is built for creative and commercial work that is safe for a general audience, for example:

  • Product demos, ads and marketing videos
  • Short-form social content, vlogs and tutorials
  • Storytelling, cinematic scenes, animation and concept art
  • Educational and documentary-style content
  • Analysis of public or your own videos to learn their structure, style and prompts

What You Cannot Create

You must not use Video2Prompt to generate, request or attempt to generate any of the following. This applies to text prompts, uploaded or linked images, and the videos the service produces:

  • NSFW and sexual content: nudity, pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, erotic roleplay, or "fetish" content of any kind
  • Any sexualization of minors: any content that sexualizes or depicts minors in a sexual or suggestive way. We report such content to the relevant authorities.
  • Deepfakes and impersonation: face swaps, deepfakes or realistic depictions of real people without their consent, or content that impersonates a real person or organization
  • Violent and harmful content: graphic gore, content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm or suicide
  • Hate and harassment: content that attacks or demeans people based on protected characteristics, bullying, threats or targeted harassment
  • Illegal activity: content that promotes or facilitates illegal acts, weapons, drugs, fraud or scams
  • Misinformation and deception: content designed to mislead, such as fake news footage, election misinformation or fraudulent advertising
  • Infringing content: content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other rights of others

How We Moderate Content

To keep the service safe, every Prompt to Video request goes through automated moderation:

  1. Prompt check: your text prompt is checked before generation starts. Prompts that are denied or flagged are blocked and you are not charged.
  2. Image check: reference or first-frame images are checked before generation starts.
  3. Output check: generated videos are checked before they are shown to you. A video that fails the check is withheld and the credits for it are refunded.

If the moderation service is temporarily unavailable, generation does not start and you can retry later. Automated moderation can make mistakes; if you believe your content was blocked in error, contact us. Attempting to bypass moderation (for example with misspellings, coded language or split prompts) is a violation of this policy.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the prompts, images and videos you submit and for how you use generated content. Make sure you have the rights to any material you upload and that your use of the output complies with applicable laws.

Third-Party AI Models

Video2Prompt is an independent product that provides an interface to third-party AI models. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the creators of those models. Model names are used only to describe compatibility.
